Requiem for a Dream is a dark drama from the year 2000 that promises to leave you hollow inside once it's over.

The story revolves around four individuals and their slow descent into inescapable despair, all due to their misuse of certain drugs. From street heroin to perscribed amphetamines, the four main characters end up watching their own lives falling apart, whether aware of it or not.

This is not a movie that I want to reveal too much about, because I feel doing so would ruin the experience, but for lovers of drama, this one's going to make you cry for at least a week. 7/10
