District 9 is a sci-fi action film that manages to tell a story no other sci-fi stories have done: where the aliens are the ones discriminated

The story takes place Johannesburg, South Africa, when a large UFO settles over the city and remains there for years. When humans finally go up to the ship to inspect it, they find an alien species they call "Prawns" who are malnourished and far from home. The humans of Johannesburg decide to allow the Prawns into their city, marking out a special district for them known as District 9. But after years of the mother ship remaining stationary, and the Prawns not really doing anything to support the city, the city decides to out-right evict them. They send the MC of the story to the district to have them sign the eviction notices; a man named Wikus, a city worker with a wife and baby on the way. But getting the Prawns to leave isn't going to be an easy task, and Wikus finds this out the hard way.

This one's very exciting and enjoyable to watch. I'd personally say it's one of those movies you can watch again and again and never get tired of it. 10/10
