Napoleon Dynamite is an awkward yet wholesome comedy that parodies 1980s home culture in an accurate way, as well as laughably show the power of friendship in a community full of headstrong midwesterners

Napoleon is a 16 year old high schooler from Preston, Idaho, with his Grandma and his older brother, Kip. His best friend is a mexican immigrant named Pedro, who decides he wants to run for class president(which turns out to be the plot of the movie). Despite Napoleon having to deal with his Grandma in the hospital, every girl at school rejecting him for the prom, and worst of all, the unhinged schemes of his delusional Uncle Rico, he goes the extra mile just for his friend to win class president.

This comedy is very wholesome and clean, and still manages to make you laugh, even leaving you warm-hearted. 8/10
